From director Jean-Michel Vecchiet

The documentary PETER LINDBERGH – WOMEN’S STORIES by Jean Michel Vecchiet tells the extraordinary story of a man who became one of the greatest photographers of the 20th century. In addition to extraordinary insights into his daily work, the film tells a very personal and emotional life story that raises the fundamental questions: How and why does one become an artist? Where does this creative power come from, defying logic and resisting analysis?

Peter Lindbergh was able to portray women like Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista or Cindy Crawford from a completely different angle, catapulting them to world stardom. Jean-Michel Vecchiets PETER LINDBERGH – WOMEN’S STORIES is a sensitive portrait, from his childhood – which was marked by the traces of World War II – to the artist and star photographer, who is still booked by the biggest brands worldwide. Directed by Jean Michel Vecchiet (Vies et morts d ‘Andy Warhol, Basquiat, une vie, 6 June 1944, ils étaient les premiers).
