At a flea market, the passionate jazz fan Michel (Christian Clavier) discovers a rare record one sunny morning. He desires nothing more than to be able to listen to his newly acquired work in peace at home and to enjoy it alone. But it seems as if the world has conspired against him: his wife makes him a terrible confession, his unpredictable son reappears from nowhere, his worried mother calls continuously and to top it all off just this day, a big party in the neighborhood takes place. Michel uses every means possible to finally be able to hear his beloved soundboard for just one hour in this chaos. The cunning liar must use all his energy so that the sunny morning does not become a bad nightmare … In the lead role, the comedy star Christian Clavier (MONSIEUR CLAUDE AND HIS DAUGHTERS) shines as neurotic music lover Michel. The film adaptation from director Patrice Leconte (MY BEST FRIEND) is based on the eponymous play by Florian Zeller, who also wrote the screenplay for the film adaptation.

An entertaining French comedy about the little and large problems in life and daily absurdities.
