Overwhelmed by family and her new job, a young woman strands on an island in the North Sea, where she finds a new sense in her life and in herself.

Vivian Baumann is exhausted. She is on track to become an established district attorney and to move in with her boyfriend, but her life just won’t go forward. Escaping to her mother’s couch isn’t an option either. Her father sends her to an island to help her relax. Slowly, but steadily Vivian discovers the life on the island and makes friendship with its strange inhabitants.
