The new film from writer and director Martin McDonagh (In Bruges) is an action-packed black comedy starring Colin Farrell (In Bruges), Sam Rockwell (Iron Man 2) and Christopher Walken (Catch Me If You Can). Woody Harrelson (No Country for Old Men), Abbie Cornish (Sucker Punch), Olga Kurylenko (James Bond 007 – Quantum of Solace) and musician Tom Waits play additional roles. Seven Psychopaths will be brought to German cinema screens by DCM and will start showing on 6 December

The Film: Marty (Colin Farrell), a struggling writer in Hollywood, urgently needs some inspiration for his new screenplay because right now he only has a title. His best friend, dog thief Billy (Sam Rockwell), gives him more inspiration than he had hoped for when he stirs things up in the criminal underworld with the theft of a shih tzu. Unfortunately, it turns out to be the much loved pet of crazed gangster Charlie (Woody Harrelson). Before he knows what is happening, Marty has become immersed in a real-life script and only wants one thing: to survive! And to finish his story…

Seven Psychopaths is about seven times more clever than most Hollywood comedies. And way more demented.
