Behind us:
Having started out as a film production company, in 2010 DCM decided to gain a foothold in film distribution too. By joining with Delphi Filmverleih, the threatened insolvence of this traditional Berlin independent could be averted. Together with Delphi’s founder, Claus Boje, a successful reorganisation of the company was achieved in 2011. At the end of the same year, Boje sold his remaining shares to DCM, and Delphi Filmverleih has continued to operate under the name DCM since April 2012.
Us today:
As with all DCM’s activities, the executive board is made up of the founding trio, Dario Suter, Christoph Daniel and Marc Schmidheiny, together with their partner, Joel Brandeis. Sonja Schmitt completes the distribution division’s operational management team.
Dario Suter and Joel Brandeis act as managing directors of the company since the Berlin International Film Festival in 2012.
